Metzger Mediation is devoted to helping parties successfully and cost effectively resolve lawsuits through alternate dispute resolution including mediation and arbitration. We conduct mediation through video conference and/or designated locations agreed upon by the parties.

WHAT IS MEDIATION?

Mediation is one of the most efficient ways to settle a legal dispute.  It is especially helpful in personal injury cases and makes it possible for both sides of a dispute to reach a satisfactory resolution.  It allows everyone involved to share their thoughts and opinions regarding the matter at hand, so there is a peaceful and cost-effective settlement that addresses both the financial and emotional issues in a case.

Mediation Fees

  • $400.00/hour for up to three party mediations.

  • $150.00/hour per party for mediations of four parties or more.

  • Three hour minimum

  • The fee will be divided equally between or among the parties unless otherwise agreed by all parties before or at the mediation


LOCATION: Our offices can accommodate multiparty mediations or I can travel of any alternate location.

OUT OF TOWN TRAVEL: No travel charge for cases mediated in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, or Pasco counties. Travel outside these counties will be billed at one half of the regular hourly rate.

CANCELLATION POLICY: There is a two (2) hour cancellation fee if canceled less than five (5) business days prior to mediation, unless the mediation is rescheduled. Cancellation should be by agreement of all litigants and in writing (email or letter) copying all litigants’ counsel.
